4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • AI Model Providers: When you use the autofill feature, your profile data is sent to your chosen AI model provider (Google Gemini, Qwen, or local Ollama) to generate form responses. The specific data shared depends on the form fields being filled.
  • Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, and customer support.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information with your explicit consent.

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Local Storage

Your profile data is primarily stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage. This means your personal information stays on your device and is not transmitted to SuperFill servers except when making AI model requests.

5.2 Cloud Sync (Optional)

If you create an account and enable cloud sync, your profile data is encrypted and stored on secure servers to allow access across multiple devices.

5.3 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Access controls and authentication mechanisms
  • Secure coding practices and code reviews

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. AI Model Data Processing

When you use SuperFill's AI-powered autofill feature:

  • Free Tier: You provide your own API key (e.g., Google Gemini). Your profile data is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider. SuperFill does not see or store this data.
  • Paid Tiers: SuperFill hosts the AI integration. Your profile data is sent from your browser through our secure backend to the AI model provider. We do not store the AI responses or your profile data on our servers.
  • Local Models: If you use Ollama or another local model, all data processing happens on your device. No data leaves your computer.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

  • Authenticate users and maintain sessions
  • Remember your preferences and settings
  • Analyze usage patterns and improve the Service

You can control cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service.
